Fast swimming can seem really complicated.
There are all sorts of different skills and they all need to happen at the same time.
It's really easy to fall into the trap of believing you need to master each of these details, all at the same time.
It can get really overwhelming, and rightfully so.
So, what is the solution?
Focus on the FUNDAMENTALS.
What really matters?
1. You need to move as much water as backward as possible so you can go forward.
2. You need to the water as streamlined as possible as you move through the water.
How can you move as much water back with your arm as paddle?
How can you swim with your body as straight as possible?
That's ALL you have to do.
Get that straight and worry about the details later.
