Mistakes You're Making #3 Drills Aren't Magic

Triathletes often get caught in the trap of thinking that there's some drill they can do to fix their swimming.

While drills can be useful, they're only useful if they solve YOUR problem.

They also need to be drills that you can feel moving you to swim differently.

If you don't FEEL something different, not much is going to change.

Drills in isolation aren't going to do much unless you can take those feelings into how you're swimming actual freestyle.

Solutions

  • Make sure the drill you're doing is the best way for YOU to learn the skill you're working on

  • Make sure the skill you're working on is the REAL problem

  • Integrate your skill work into your swimming

Sounds simple, and it is.

You just have to DO it.
