Mission Critical II

If you're not working on the critical skills that will help you improve the most in the water, you're not going to improve as fast as you could, and you might not improve at all.

  1. You need to learn to stay level in the water

  2. You need to learn to pull straight back

  3. You need to learn to breathe effectively

  4. You need to time your rotation so you can accomplish all of the above

Staying level in the water is the foundation for effective swimming.

If you can't do it well, you can't swim feel.

It should be the focus at the initial stages.

Start with these 4 exercises, performed in sequence, and stay with them.

Be patient, and get comfortable.

At least where I’m at, the weather is starting slowly get nicer. While I get outside regardless of what the weather is like, it’s certainly more enjoyable when the weather is a little more forgiving.
